IS A MODERN WARFARE 2 REMASTER COMING NEXT YEAR?

A Modern Warfare 2 Remaster could be being developed as we speak. Modern Warfare 2 has to be one of the most well-known and iconic Call of Duty's of the franchise because of its innovation and fun factor. With this years Infinite Warfare release, Activision has allowed Raven Software to develop Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered as a pre-order incentive for Infinite Warfare and it's a brilliant idea from the publisher giant. However, this lands Activision in a tricky position because now fans will be expected a Remastered title every year now until something drastically changes with the Call of Duty development cycle.  The next Call of Duty title will be released by Sledgehammer Games and although releasing a remastered Modern Warfare 3 would make sense (because Sledgehammer Games helped develop the title), it would also not make sense at the same time. In fact, it's probably likely that a Modern Warfare 2 Remaster is on the horizon, probably being developed b...

NINTENDO SWITCH VS PLAYSTATION 4 VS XBOX ONE

Can Nintendo really compete with Sony and Microsoft? Nintendo recently revealed their brand-new Nintendo Switch console which does look mighty impressive, but can it really complete with the other current generation consoles? Quite simple put it, no.  Nintendo have always struggled to sell enough units to compete against Sony and Microsoft when new consoles are released and it's probably going to be exactly the same when the Nintendo Switch releases. Nintendo's new console focuses more on social game (as they always have) and have had to sacrifice power, which in the world of console gaming, is generally a bad thing. These days players want almost real-life graphics that require massive amounts of power and the Switch won't have that. Although it's been confirmed that the Switch will support AAA titles, we really can't see some of the massive games out there such as the recently released Battlefield 1 coming to the Switch. One of the biggest concerns ...

BATTALION 1944: THE WORLD WAR 2 GAME WE WANT TO SUCCEED

Battalion 1944 is a Call of Duty inspired World War 2 game releasing soon. Battalion 1994 is set to release in May 2017 and could be the game that we've been waiting for. With Call of Duty once again heading to the future and Battlefield 1 firmly in World War 1, a game based in World War 2 could be amazing. Usually, small studios like Bulkhead usually can't get enough marketing to successfully generate a lot of sales with their games. Despite this, it seems that Bulkhead have got a massive for Battalion 1944 and the game could see a lot of success, especially if they get Microsoft or Sony supporting it as much as possible.  Battalion 1944 recaptures the core of classic multiplayer shooters and propels World War 2 into the next generation of gaming. Battalion 1944 utilizes the most advanced industry technology to create a visceral and heart-thumping multiplayer experience that has been crafted by the designers who have grown up playing Medal of Honor and Call of Duty 2....

RED FACTION COULD BE COMING TO PLAYSTATION 4

Could the PlayStation 2 classic be coming to the PS4 as a remaster?  Over the last year or so, many PlayStation 2 games have been making a return to the PlayStation 4, either by becoming compatible with the PS4 or being a remaster. Well it looks like Red Faction could potentially be added to that list very shortly. A number of NeoGAF users have discovered that PEGI has recently issued a rating for the game, Red Faction and has granted the game a PEGI 16 rating. Although that ESRB has not yet issued any ratings for the game, this could indicate that Red Faction could be coming to the PS4 very soon indeed. Although this isn't concrete evidence that Red Faction will be making a return, it's not a coincidence that PEGI reviewed the game out of no where. Red Faction will soon be hitting its 15 year anniversary, making it a perfect time to either release it on the PlayStation 4 or announce/release a remastered version of the game.  Will you buy Red Faction if it returns...

CALL OF DUTY TO RELEASE A WORLD WAR 2 TITLE NEXT YEAR?

Call of Duty can't continue on the same path of future based titles.  If you're a fan of Call of Duty or was a fan, you'll probably agree that the last 3 years have been pretty rough for the franchise in terms of fun-factor. Of course, Activision have reported in increased profits year over year, but that doesn't mean that the fan base are enjoying their titles. Advanced Warfare, Black Ops 3 and now Infinite Warfare have all been future based titles and fans of the franchise are just not enjoying them.  So why are Activision not releasing a World War 2 title? Well, the answer is fairly simple, the 3-year development cycle is the best but worst thing for the franchise. Unfortunately a 3 year development cycle means that Activision cannot really follow the trends of gaming or what their fans want because there is always 2 developers working on future titles. What this means is that the 3 year cycle is a recipe for disaster because changes of future games, for the...

WATCH: HACKERS ARE ALREADY IN BATTLEFIELD 1 BEFORE RELEASE

Hackers have already been found in the 10 hour trial of Battlefield 1!  Yep, you read right, hackers have already been found within Battlefield 1 Multiplayer. The video comes from PC Gamer, who claim that the hacker head aim bot and went 65-0 in a single game.  It's crazy to think that even before the official release, someone has found a way to hack the game. EA and DICE have had shaky launches with other Battlefield games in the past, most notably, Battlefield 4. Battlefield 4 was full of hackers, glitches and connectivity issues on launch, we just have to hope that Battlefield 1 won't be the same.

RED DEAD REVOLVER MAKES A RETURN

You can now play Red Dead Revolver on the PlayStation 4! Red Dead, one of the best PS2 games to grace the earth, is now playable on the PlayStation 4. Unfortunately there is no remastering of the title, however you can now experience the classic cowboy game all over again on your updated system.  What makes the release of Red Dead on the current generation systems interesting, is the fact that rumors have been circulating that a new Red Dead game is in development by Rockstar Games.  Is it possible that Rockstar Games are testing the waters with Red Dead Revolver? We hope so.

BATTLEFIELD 1 IN REAL LIFE

How would have World War 1 soldiers reacted to Battlefield 1? Yesterday, the YouTube channel, The Warp Zone uploaded a very interesting video called "Battlefield 1 In Real Life". The video, that has been made for entertainment purposes depicts two soldiers discussing how the Great War would be remembered 100 years from now. Although the video has been made for entertainment, it does make you wonder how soldiers would have actually reacted to the game if they were alive today. Although Battlefield 1 is a game and is made to entertain people, the game itself doesn't give an accurate representation of World War 1 and with great reason. World War 1 was the bloodiest war in history, with over nine million soldiers and seven million civilians being killed. In addition to the deaths, over 7 million people were permanently disabled and a further 15 million were seriously injured.

EA and Origin Access members will get a total of 10 hours early access game time and progression will still be saved when the game officially releases on October 21st. Five maps and four modes will be available during the early access period: Maps: St. Quentin Scar Amiens Sinai Desert Fao Fortress Suez Modes: Conquest Rush Operations Domination Unfortunately this offer only applies to EA Access (Xbox One) and Origin Access (PC) players, however PlayStation 4 players can play the game early, on October 18th, by purchasing the Battlefield 1 Early Enlisted Deluxe Edition.  You can purchase EA Access or Origin Access for $4.99 per month, which could be worthwhile if you're planning to get a head start over everyone else.

CHOOSE BATTLEFIELD 1 OVER INFINITE

If you still wonder which FPS you should buy this year, this may help you take a decision. As we stated a couple weeks ago,  Infinite Warfare   will have a total of 130 GB in download size. BATTLEFIELD IS SIGNIFICANTLY LESS GREEDY With only 45 GB required, Battlefield looks like it's winning the Hard Disk war. First Xbox One and PS4 consoles only have 500 GB available. If you're a polyvalent player and enjoy playing several games, buying Call of Duty means having to take a hard decision. Battlefield will be less demanding and if you're lucky enough, you might have enough free space. BATTLEFIELD UGLIER THAN CALL OF DUTY? This raises an important question: will Battlefield offer a less immersive experience because of that? This comes as a surprise as Battlefield is traditionally prettier and cleaner than Call of Duty, which is trying hard not to update is graphic engine. THE 130 GB INCLUDE MODERN WARFARE REMASTERED Now the reason why Infinite Warfare wil...

Just Cause 3: Graphics and Gameplay

Just Cause 3 Gameplay Full of Dramatic and Destruction: At the start of december, Square Enix released the newest installment by Avalanche Studios,  Just Cause 3 . This is an open world, third person RPG in which you get to depose a dictator in Latin America. The game is comparable to the very popular Grand Theft Auto series in many ways. We tested the game with 23 different graphics cards to get an indication of the performance on Full HD, WQHD and Ultra HD. In Just Cause 3 you play as Rico Rodriguez, a kind of action hero who has to depose the dictator ruling the Latin-American island of Panau. This story is clearly secondary to the action elements of the game. Like its predecessors, Just Cause 3 is not exactly realistic, but it does look very good graphically. According to the developer, the open world would be 1000 km 2  in real life. On top of that there are a lot of overpowered tools which provide a plethora of activities. For example, the grappling hook has a ...

MAFIA 3 Graphics and Gameplay

Mafia 3 Gameplay Footage is Beautiful and Violent: First and foremost, as the above video and below screenshots show, this game is beautiful. The vibrant daytime environments, the dynamic lighting, and the powerful muscle cars all work together to provide a stunning visual experience within  Mafia 3 . Now, granted, developers have provided flashy gameplay video and screenshots in the past, only to deliver a final product that underwhelms, but fans of the series can’t help but marvel at the gorgeous gameplay as it currently stands. In addition to the impressive graphics displayed in the gameplay, there are a few more new details about  Mafia 3  that gamers are sure to find interesting.
