KILLER INSTINCT DEV ANNOUNCES ACTION GAME EXTINCTION

Killer Instinct developer Iron Galaxy and publisher Maximum Games have announced Extinction, a "fast-paced action game" coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Due out in Q1 2018, Extinction puts players in the role of Avil, a soldier known as a Sentinel, who is trained to defend against the Ravenii, an army of 150-foot-tall ogres and other monsters
The game features a campaign, custom online battles that allow for players to create battlegrounds and objectives while challenging players for high scores, and a wave-based survival mode called Extinction. The announcement was accompanied by the cinematic trailer above.
Extinction's game director, Kraig Kujawa, said players can expect "fast, fluid" and "absolutely relentless" gameplay. Derek Neal, executive producer at Maximum Games, added, "...each player’s experience will be varied, as the landscapes and battle situations are never identical."
Iron Galaxy will be showcasing Extinction behind closed doors at E3. For more, check out IGN's full list of games appearing at E3 2017.
Set to release in early 2018, Exctinction will challenge you to fight massive brutes that can crush city walls as well as their flying minions. Strategy and quick reflexes will keep you alive while the hordes of attackers come at you from all sides, including the air. The trailer above shows all of the bloody mayhem you'd expect, plus the requisite lone hero player character — the last of an ancient order who must take on an endless stream of gigantic ogres with just his sword.
