Nintendo Games news: Terrifying Nintendo Switch reveal follows shock SNES and 3DS updates



SOME TRULY terrifying new Nintendo Switch experiments are being conducted in the same week we found out some shock news on the Classic SNES mini and Nintendo 3DS handheld.

It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster ride for Nintendo fans since the launch of the company’s latest console.

Having received a mixed reception in January, the Nintendo Switch avoided any early Wii U comparisons by flying off shelves.
And it appears that isn’t the only place Nintendo Switchs have been moving fast.
The latest Nintendo games experiments have confirmed that the hybrid console can remain functional after being dropped from a great height.
A new video posted on YouTube channel UnlockRiver reveals a durability review, including a 1,000-foot drop to the ground.
The new clip will prove terrifying for any handheld, or mobile phone owner who has perfected the frantic juggling technique of trying to stop your favourite piece of tech smash into the ground.
But as revealed in the video, the Nintendo Switch remains working having fallen to earth, after being dragged up into the sky on a drone.
There’s the obvious question of why this was attempted and if it’s a possible hoax, however, from the footage posted online it looks like the real deal.

Nintendo Switchs caught in mid-flight appears to be an expanding trend, with another fun clip posted to the internet recently of something a little similar.

A new mock ad has been put together for the Nintendo Switch, pushing the limits to even what the Japanese games giant would do.
Russian YouTube channel Юз has created a new video, featuring the Nintendo Switch, bananas, playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on rooftops and even in the sky.
It seems likely that the part involving skydiving didn’t involve actual gameplay running live with Zelda Breath of the Wild, but it’s still a great way to show off what the console can do.
The Short Action Film with the Nintendo Switch was shot in Moscow, Russia by Valera Boluchevsky & Richard Chirkin and could be the one of top unofficial ads for handheld mode.

It follows news of a possible leak connected to the E3 2017 reveal of a Nintendo Classic SNES Mini.

Microsoft’s E3 2017 Xbox survey has reportedly listed the SNES Classic Mini among already released consoles. 
The questionnaire had several topic listed, including one question that asked which E3 2017 announcements they were most looking forward to.
This included a range of known consoles such as the Nintendo Switch, as well as the SNES Classic Mini.
It should be noted that this isn’t exactly confirmation of anything being announced at E3 2017, although other reported suggests something is brewing.
Sources close to the company have confirmed that a mini version of the SNES is in the works.
And if it’s set to go on sale during the holiday period, Nintendo will likely want a big stage to show it off on.
Since the end of the Classic NES Mini, there have been reported that a Mini SNES could be released.
Fans found an interesting Nintendo patent that appears to confirm the Japanese games giant’s plans to launch a new product in their mini console range.
The Japanese Super Famicom (SNES) controller has been spotted as a filed trademark, which arrived on December 5, 2016.

Need for Speed Payback will release this November

Ghost Games' newest NFS instalment targets casino cartels Following a tease yesterday, EA and Ghost Games has lifted the veil on its forthcoming Need for Speed game. As it turns out, Need for Speed Payback will release on November 10 and will feature, according to EA, "blockbuster gameplay never before seen from the series".  As is increasingly the case with Need For Speed games, there will be a narrative involved, which promises to be "gripping" and full of betrayal and revenge. Resident Evil 6 – worth a quid

A reader celebrates how easy it is to buy video games for virtually nothing, so that even the most cash-strapped gamer can keep playing. Gamers rejoice! Recently for personal, boring, non-gaming reasons I have been slightly short on cash. In the past, a time such as this would have spelt the end, or at least temporary postponement, of my gaming obsession. This weekend I have picked up Metro: Last Light for £2 (CeX… sorry), Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow for £1, and Resident Evil 6 for £1 – the last two from a car boot sale (all for Xbox 360). I know Resident Evil 6 has it’s many disappointed customers, but for a quid? Surely, I will squeeze out 100 pennies worth of enjoyment?! So far I have dipped into Castlevania.
